Sephora x Chienchilla
Today, Chienchilla teamed up with Sephora to review two products from their Estée Lauder range available here. Shopping from Sephora has never been easier with the easy site navigation and efficient check-out process. Shipping is free for orders RM80 and above. When you purchase more than RM300 from the site, you'll get a free limited edition Sephora laptop bag. What's better is that all orders come with a free sample.
The Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm also acts as a makeup remover. The texture is akin to a cream, but it subsequently breaks down to oil and removes makeup very easily - literally melting away the grease and debris on your face without much hassle. It is not drying or irritating at all, surprisingly gentle for a cleansing balm that dissolves makeup in a jiffy! The only downside to this product is the price - RM175 for 2.4oz (70ml) which might break some hearts. That aside, it's a wonderful product to have and pamper yourself with.
The Nutritious Vitality8 Radiant Energy Mist was more like a fun, refreshing spritz to hydrate your skin whenever needed. I was sold when I read that it contained "potent antioxidant blend of pomegranate extract, mangosteen and super berries". It doesn't have any significant effect upon application except to make your face appear more hydrated, but it does smell good. The fruity smell gives me good mood. Again, it's on the expensive end for facial mists - RM125 for 200ml.
Price wise, Estée Lauder stuff are definitely on the high-end as they are a designer company marketed as such. It's possible to get cheaper substitutes for both products, but a generic drugstore brand certainly will not feel as luxurious and pampering as Estée Lauder, that's for sure. So it depends on your budget and your willingness to indulge yourself in better stuff.
Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Balm: 4.5/5
