2nd Is Not Bad, In Fact It's Good

I got second in the district level Chinese speech competition today. I'm satisfied with the results, because I didn't spend much time memorizing the text, and I'm having a sore throat plus oral ulcer. The weather is so hot these days that you'd think you're in Sahara desert if I blindfold you and put you in Malaysia.

Thank God I managed to finish the whole thing without stumbling and forgetting my text or else it'd be so embarrassing. I mean, people will start to say, "Hey, that girl is 17 and she can't memorize a 5-minute text? I bet a little girl would do better than her."

Last but not least, I'd like to congratulate all the participants and coordinators for making this event a success. And special thanks to Miss Tan Kien Ai for giving me a free ride.

Nan Hwa peeps, you guys totally rocked the day! We are the stars of tomorrow.
